The Italian, Paolo Bettini, finishing sixth in today;s penultimate World Cup round, the 
Classic Paris-Tours race, earned enough points to steal the leader's jersey from Davide Rebellin
with just one race (next week's Tour of Lombardy) remaining on the World Cup calendar...

ERIK DEKKER!!!! The Dutch champ, the sole survivor af a long break, somehow resisted the return 
of the pack, and dug out the win with just meters to spare. 

Danilo Hondo prevailed in the bunch sprint for second over World Champion Oscar Freire in third...
