Gerrie Knetemann - Dead at 53

The Former World Champion and Coach of Dutch National Squad Died today.

After feeling ill on a Mountain Bike ride with three friends, Mr Knetemann was taken to hospital where
he died shortly after his arrival.

A prolific winner in the 1970's and 1980's Gerry counted a World Championship and two wins in the Amstel Gold
among his many victories.
