Munich Six Day - Night 5 - Monday
Mon Nov 15 20:10:18 2004
Whilst most pairs lost one or more laps on Night Five, a storming Scott McGrory-Matthew Gilmore pair
earned a bonus lap and stole another on the field to join Slippens-Stam and Kappes-Beikirch on the
Zero Lap, and in fact are now in second place as they lead Kappes-Beikirch by a slim margin of two
points.

Last years winners, Risi-Betschart are only one lap back with a bonus lap only eight points ahead.
The rest of the pairs are too far back to realistically challenge for victory and although
Risi-Betschart will undoubtably join the three leaders on the Zero Lap, victory for them will
depend upon them being able to steal a lap as a 50 points deficit is rather more than they will
be able to expunge.

But whatever the outcome, the spectators will be guaranteed some nail biting action as the Munich
Six Day goes into the final night tomorrow (Tuesday)

Vandenbroucke : Not contesting Ghent Six Day
Mon Nov 15 17:35:47 2004

Personal problems are the probable reason again.

Frank Vandenbroucke, recently hired by the Mr. Bookmaker team, has advised that he will not be
riding the Ghent Six Day event as he was scheduled to do.

Vandenbroucke opted out of the currently running Munich event, where he was scheduled to race,
at the last minutes without giving a reason. His Team Manager at Mr. Bookmaker advised that
Vandenbroucke had personal problems which had prevented him from training and that he was not
in condition to ride.

It is understood that Frank is having trouble accepting the separation of his wife,
Sarah Pinacci.

Frank was slated to partner Matthew Gilmore in Ghent and the organizers are currently
seeking a replacement.
